This map is one of the things I unearthed. I bought it at an estate sale a few years ago, and forgot about it. It's most likely from the 1920's, and has a canvas back.
It also has beautiful patina, and was printed in Paris.
You can see that whoever owned it before must have had it tacked to the wall. I decided not to tack it to the wall. Instead, I tacked it to a ruler, and hung the ruler on the wall.
The cross you see is made of two spindles. I painted and distressed them some time ago. I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do with them.
I just screwed them together from the back.
I have lots of spindles.
I also came across this vintage child's robe. I think it was in a box of fabric I purchased at another sale.
I love the handmade charm, and details.
