In between rain drops, I took a break from working to snip a few roses. With all the rain, they're really thriving.
The box is a redesigned silverware box. I gutted it,
gave it a few dry brush coats of paint, and added my angel. I'm not finished with it though. I have to add a little embellishment, and jazz up the interior.
Back inside, my vintage colander makes a nice vase. Something pretty to look at while I work.
See ya soon.
So pretty. You always have the sweetest things to share.ReplyDelete
Have a happy week xox
I will show this to my sister. She has a silverware box...she brought it to my shop but it hasn't been transformed yet. I like the idea of adding an image like you did. xoReplyDelete
Just got a moment to go back and catch up on your last several posts. Seems you have had a ton of stuff going on over there!! Just having your son graduate and everything that goes along with that is enough, let alone holding up a blog, a business and life in general!ReplyDelete
Love the colander...assuming you have some sort of glass container within the colander so those yummy roses have something to drink! lol Have a great week ahead!
A beautiful way to update the silverware box. I bet the roses smell like heaven :)ReplyDelete
What a cool way to use that colander. That angel on the box is adorable. Your roses are beautiful just like your work.ReplyDelete
Oh Rosemary I can't imagine having my very own studio to work in - let alone it being so beautiful!ReplyDelete
I thought the roses were " faux " they're gorgeous!
Rosemary so glad you got some creative time in your studio. You always have the sweetest creations. Love your roses OMG they are beautiful. Have a great week.ReplyDelete
Love the box -- and also the way you arranged the roses in the colander. I almost feel like I do in the winter when I bring flowers inside -- LOL. Perks me right up on these chilly, rainy days!ReplyDelete
You make a beautiful couple, Rosemary! Loved seeing that photo of you both! Happy Anniversary and blessings to you!!! ♥ReplyDelete
