Recent Designs and Still Organizing

I saw "Man Of Steel" last night.  Which, has nothing to do with this post. LOL  I loved the movie though.

How do you like my script on stone?  Something I'm playing with right now.

I'm also working with some of the salvaged wood and metal I have lying around.

I applied one of my vintage images to a salvaged  piece of fencing I painted.  After distressing it, I topped it off with a metal fleur-de-lis.

She sold very quickly to my friend Nancy.

I just finished this next one.  The same idea here, with a little more embellishment,

and function.

I'm still organizing, and going through containers in the garage (a.k.a. The Abyss).  Thus, I have quite a few projects in various stages of completion.

I'm planning to redesign this chandelier, and,

I added the ornate metal to this shapely piece of wood.  Layers of paint unified it.  Now, I have to decide what I want it to become.  Sign?  Rack?

I'm not finished with this shelf either.  It was pretty plain to begin with.  I added the embellishment in the middle, and the columns on the sides before painting it.  It's still blah to me, and so is the little table.  I'll let you know how I finish them off.

Yes, lots to do.  In the meantime, I'll be

See ya soon.

  1. Love your Joan of Arc - that's the name of my church, too!

The rock crafts - very nice.

We were going to see Man of Steel tonight and we were about 20- minutes too late deciding and missed the last one unless we wanted to see it in 3D - and we didn't feel the need.

Hopefully Sunday, a good Father's Day movie I would think!
