Footstool and Bench

Today I have a footstool, and a vanity bench redesign.

Here is the before.

I started with a red primer, and began layering white gesso and paint. I finished with a black gesso wash, and sanding.

I transferred a chandelier to plain grain sack material using a Splendid Blender pen. It releases the laser print image onto fabric.  I'll break this process down in a future post.

Here is a recent vanity bench redesign.

This was actually a pretty quick redesign. I used a paint and primer mix, and distressed it a bit. The seat is drop cloth material with two bands of webbing.

Remember "Mix It Up"?

This vanity bench seat was done completely with hot glue as well.

So many redesigns in the works. Including the transformation of this guy.
