Wallpaper Magnetic Board and Vintage Images

I've been painting frames, and making more magnetic boards.  I covered this board with vintage wallpaper.

Because I had a touch of blue on the frame, I did a blue wash over the wallpaper.

Again, I went with yellow for the rose magnet.

Just like in my last post, I'm going for a touch of Spring with the colors.  We still have a pile of snow outside, but it's starting to melt.  It's suppose to be in the 50's this weekend.

I've been going through my vintage ephemera collection, and I literally have thousands of images. My canvas cloth magnetic boards have sold well.  I love making them, because they remind me of tapestries.

I'll be making more angel boards, but here's a peek at a few other images I'll be using.

I love this image.  I'm making a large one for myself.

P.S.  Once again, I'm getting more and more "NO-REPLY" comments.  Of course, most of them are questions.  Read my post, "No Reply, Noooooo", to see if you're a No-Reply.  If you're not sure, and you have a question, just send me a regular email.  Thanks.

See ya soon.

  1. I'm always so amazed at how hard you work! Although I too understand and know the importance of hard work!

    Take care. . .

  2. You are unrelenting Rosemary but that is good and you create beauty. I saw a sign recently that said "Hard Work Makes Good Luck" and that is true indeed.

  3. Just beautiful, Rosemary! I just love that frame and the paper you used is gorgeous. I like doing magnetic boards, too. Although, I usually wind up asking my husband to cut the metal to size for me.
