Mother's Day Finds and Memories

Hunting and gathering is my passion.  So, what better way to start my Mother's Day, than to wake up bright and early, and cruise the local flea market.  Here are some of my finds.

Love this stand.  Gotta add handles.

I found a bunch of vintage bottles to play with.

A few shabby finds, that I don't have to paint.

Look at that original crackle finish.

Great basket, but.....

it has issues.  I have a plan.

So, that was my early morning.  I spent the rest of the day being pampered by my hubby, and two teen sons.  I came across an old photo of them, and had to share.  My boys tower over me now, but when I look in their eyes, I still see my little babies.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.  See ya soon.

  36. Hi Rosemary, I'm like you; look at my sons and still see my baby boys. Boy did you find some great things. I can't wait to see where you take the little table. I'm a new follower and found you over at Nifty Thrifty party. I would love if you linked your finds over at my Frugal Treasures Tuesday party.

  37. Do they ever really grow up in your heart and mind? It was a great score for you - all those treasures. I had a wire basket like this. I turned it upside down, added a wood round from Lowe's , and made a table! My favorite is the chair. Came over from Beez.
