On The Hunt

Here are some of the items found while on the hunt this past week.  This is the base of a floor lamp I picked up at an estate sale. Look at all that wonderful patina, and the art deco figures.  Best of all, it was only $10.  Love it.

I think I may try my hand at replicating this look on something.

More finds.

I love finding pairs to redesign.  I already have a vision for these.

Believe it or not, I actually found the two stands below at separate estate sales.

This chair was picked up at an antique shop for $5.  It's a little rough, but I can fix that.

Getting some rest tonight.  I'll have redesigns to share this coming week, and a much requested tutorial.

  11. I recently found two Louis XVI chairs that are being reupholstered. In the meantime, I need to decide what finish I am going to use on them. Perhaps you can come by later and cast your vote? I posted them on my last Craigslist Finds post but I have not yet posted them without the ugly upholstery. Hoepfully tomorrow?
You have the soul of a Master. I love your work!
