Pretty Pail

I wanted to share my pretty pail.  It's a newer galvanized pail I painted white.  I transferred the image with my Splendid Blender.  It's the same image I created for some of my vintage towels.  I printed "le jardin" (the garden), and added  the garden gates.

It looks great with my roses.

I didn't want the image too sharp.  I like the faded look.

Now, for a nice shower.  See ya soon.

  2. That looks really pretty, Rosemary! I finally got some of those pens. I did attempt a transfer, but I think I must have used the wrong printer, because nothing happened. I need to get my images to print to our regular printer and try it again. Yours always come out so nice.

  18. So pretty -- I love the graphic and the 'worn' look of it. Perfect weather FINALLY for a garage sale! I plan to be out hitting a few tomorrow, working on getting the garden tilled and generally soaking in the warm weather!

  19. Beautiful, Rosemary! Love those gorgeous roses in it! I don't see any brush strokes on your pail. What kind of paint/method did you use??? :) I've got a couple of those pails in my basement that need a facelift!

  20. Love the French garden over here Rosemary :)
The bucket / pail is as French as it can be, and it turned out so beautiful, amazing what a little paint can do.

Its so much fun inspiring one another is it not?

    Lots of inspiration your way.
