Not Many Photos

Call me a bad blogger. Go ahead.  After going over my photos, I realized, I honestly don't have a lot to show you from my booth this past weekend. Once again, so much was gone before I thought about taking pics, and I didn't take many.  I was so focused on set up and early customers. Many of my customers have become friends. So, I'm usually chatting, laughing, and writing receipts. I'll try to do better at Kane County this coming weekend.

It was a chilly day at The Arboretum. I was set up under a huge tent, along with about nine other dealers. When the sun was shining, the dealers in the open air were warmer than we were in the tent.  Every time the wind picked up, it was like the temp dropped another 10-15 degrees.  Yet, it was a great day for sales.

My demilune,

and my burlap and webbing ottoman, went to the same customer.

My bi-fold door went as well.

I guess it's a good thing I was busy selling.  I just wish I'd at least got a wide shot of my booth before a bunch of  items were picked up.

I did manage to visit some of my friends.  Here I am with my friend Jeanine. We're pretending we're not freezing.  If you don't know Jeanine, you should.  Visit her blog Chippy Shabby.  She's a doll.

Here is a shot of Jeanine's booth.

My friends at The Perfect Pear, were set up next to me.  They have a shop in Crystal Lake, IL.  This mother (Wanda) and daughter (Sara) team are so adorable.

I only had time to take a quick shot of this little section of their booth.

I promise, I'll try to take more photos at Kane County.  Already working on that load.  See ya soon.

  22. Sure looks like it was a great (yet chilly) day at the Arboretum as evidenced by all of the winter coats, hats and scarves! I didn't have time to get out there but a few of us are going to Kane Co. this Saturday so hopefully will have a chance to stop by and say hi. Are you still in the same indoor spot?
