I had my husband go out to the garage and bring in more boxes for me to go through. I pulled out a section of a chandelier, and a metal applique. This was the beginning of my tiara.
If you've been following me for any length of time, you know I have lots of metal parts. Well, this year, you'll be seeing more redesigns using these parts.
After removing the center of the round piece, I attached the applique with thin wire.
This was followed by multiple layers of paint and plaster. Although it's very subtle, I tempered the finish a bit with a diluted wash of coffee. For a finishing touch, I added two blue rhinestones.
What do you think?
My leg is much better. I'm going to see how many other combos I can come up with.
P.S. It's happening again. I'm starting to get tons of comments from NO-REPLY commenter's. I know some of you don't realize it. I want to answer your questions, but I can't. Please check out my post No Reply, Nooooo, to see how you can fix this. Or, send me a regular e-mail. Thanks.
