Works In Progress

Today is the first day I felt like getting back to work on a few projects. After multiple appointments, my sale, hunting and gathering, commission jobs, birthdays, my wedding anniversary, etc., I just didn't have it in me for a couple days.   Here are a few recent finds I'm working on.

I've been painting frames.  Found some nice ornate ones.  The bench they're sitting on started like this.

I added an applique, and gave it generous coats of a soft blue.  I then highlighted the applique, and details with white.  I'm contemplating giving it a padded seat.

Hey Rosemary, does the blender pen work on wood applications or just fabric?

The ornate frames make such a beautiful statement. I love the idea of a cushion on the bench. The moments go by too fast to spend them all on projects. It's good to enjoy all the rest of life too! Found your post at Savvy Southern Style.
