FIRST SHOW and A SOMBER WINTER

It's been a somber winter for me.  My oldest brother passed away in January.  My brother who walked me down the aisle on my wedding day.  This happened one day after my sisters birthday.  My sister who had to have a portion of her large intestine removed due to a cancerous spot.  I thank the Lord she is recovering well.

On a different note, we had one of the coldest days in history in our area.  A wind chill of 50 below.

Needless to say, I've been dragging a bit, but, the show must go on.  My first show of the year will be The Vintage Faire in Minooka, IL.

This is a tiny portion of what I'll be bringing.

  1. I'm so sorry Rosemary. What a great loss this must be for your family. This winter certainly has been a tough one but when you are going through such hurt, it must seem especially harsh. Praying you'll find peace and joy in the memories and love you shared.

  3. Hi Rosemary. Oh I am so sorry about your brother. Your sister having to heal too from that extensive surgery. This has been a hard winter for all of us. I am so over it too. It has been pretty depressing and hard to get motivated to do much with hardly any sunshine. I heard on the news we will be up in the 60's and 70's by mid March and we will see any early Spring. Oh I hope so. Hoping to come to the Vintage Faire. It will be good to see you and give you a big hug. I am so sorry for your loss.
    Hugs,
    Kris

  4. Rosemary I also am so sorry about your brothers death and my gosh so glad to hear your sister is recovering. I know this has been hard for you.
I am glad you are all ready for a show, in this very cold weather, I hope it is an indoor show?
It has been very cold here in Missouri and some of our snow still on the ground with more on our way.

    Keep warm

  5. Rosemary I'm very sorry for the loss of your brother. I'm sure it's very difficult. I hope your sister continues to do well. I have felt horrible for all who live in the midwest. The weather has been unreal.

You have very pretty pieces as always. Good luck at your show.

    Hang in there
