I have been buying, selling and redesigning at a rapid pace for some time now. However, after my journey into blog land, the pace has escalated.
My hubby and I have been hunting and gathering like crazy in order to reload after a very successful Kane County and a stream of customers all week. I am also working on projects I will share with you later this week.
In addition, I have had a multitude of ideas for this, my third post.
More redesigns? My recent finds? Photos of finds past?
So....How about a mixed bag of everything.
Yesterdays hint of summer made me nostalgic for garden items that have come and gone. I always wonder if I should have kept some of the more unusual or beautiful pieces that made my heart beat faster when I saw them initially.
Just a tiny portion of my recent finds...
I practically hurdled over a guy to get the two carved wood plaques.
As you can see, I still have some organizing to do.
This chair made me dance. Not just because of its beauty, but I don't have to do a thing to it. It did give me some ideas for a future project though.
I redesign furniture, but I also love to revamp accessories. Here is a recent box redo. This guy was kinda sad at first.
After a little love.
Thanks for stopping by. Check back soon for the reveal of my latest redesigns.
Welcome to blogging! It will become old hat just like your revamps! I visit the Kane Co. flee market every month. Where are you? Can't wait to see you on the 30th!ReplyDelete
Also, visit my blog...not new to revamps and design, but new to selling my treasures! http://carterscottage.blogspot.com/
I'm in the Robinson Building, East Wall. Check out Jeanine's, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 post at chippyshabby.blogspot.com. I'm the one holding up...ummm...being held up by the long valance.
I'll have to check out your blog. Hope to see you soon.

and oh! welcome to the infamous world of blogland
Hi Rosemary...thanks for stopping over and welcome to blogland. Love the chair, and the re-do on the box. Garden-y things always make me swoon and I've probably let a few go that should have stayed around, too...but hey, there's always another heart-grabber just around the corner!ReplyDelete
I'm loving all the compliments for some of MY favorite bloggers. Thanks Anne Marie and Jan. You both inspire me.ReplyDelete
HEY ROSEMARY, GOOD TO SEE YOU AND MEET YOUR HUBBY AT GRAYS.ReplyDelete
AT THE RISK OF APPEARING CRASS, I JUST HAVE TO ASK, IS THAT STATUE OF THE LITTLE GIRL PICKING HER NOSE?
GEEZ Judy, only YOU would ask that question. No, she has her hand by her MOUTH.ReplyDelete
I still love you! See ya soon.
ARE YOU SURE, ROSEMARY? WELL, I GUESS I'LL JUST HAVE TO PUT MY GLASSES ON THE NEXT TIME I READ YOUR BLOG. OR MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST MAKE YOUR PHOTOS A LITTLE BIGGER SO THAT THOSE OF US THAT HAVE A WEE BIT OF A PROBLEM FOCUSING WILL HAVE AN EASIER TIME! LOL! AND IT WAS AN INNOCENT QUESTION! REALLY, IT WAS!ReplyDelete
I know it was an innocent question, silly. But, I was eating when I read it (LOL). By the way, serves me right for all the crass comments I've made in your booth :) Made ya laugh though! Love Ya!ReplyDelete
