Cherub Frame

Just thought I'd show you what I did with the cherub, and frame from my "Paint Play" post.

I gave the frame,

a wash of the same color brown as the cherub.

I didn't want them to match exactly, just compliment each other.

I didn't take pics, but the cherub is screwed in from the back of the frame.

Message board, chalkboard, mirror?  What do you think?

  4. I like it just like that, without anything inside the frame. It's so pretty just like it is. Thank's for sharing, Dee from My Painted Stuff.

  5. I agree with Dee. I like it the way it is. Hang a small bunting with words like "love" "peace" or whatever makes you happy.

  6. Love it, Rosemary! I don't think you could go wrong with either a chalkboard or memo board.

  7. Rosemary, the cherub frame looks great! I think it would nice as a chalkboard.

  10. You could do anything with that and it would be perfect. Leaving it as is would be perfect too!

I'd hang it empty, it's so pretty just as it is.

  13. The two items look perfect together Rosemary. I'd have a hard time too trying to decide what to use it as.

  14. A mirror would be gorgeous....wonder if you could find a 'ghosty' one and have it cut to fit. And just as it is would be perfect too. Gorgeous Rosemary!! xo

  15. Wouldn't this be pretty with a boxwood wreath hanging inside, or another picture frame, also would love an old scruffy mirror! Lovely, Rosemary!

  16. It's so pretty just the way it is, but I think a chalkboard would be a nice contrast.
