Garden of Dreams Sign

One of the things I found while cleaning The Abyss, was a large tub of gel medium.  I used it to transfer the flowers to this little sign I made.

That's right, this gallon was buried, and, it's full.

I gave a salvaged piece of wood my "Old World" finish, followed by the transfers.  You can click HERE to see how I used the gel medium to transfer the flowers.  I gave them a bit of distressing with a sanding pad.

The letters are rub-on transfers.  I distressed them as well.

Sealed, and done.

Actually, after I transferred the flowers, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the blank space. "Garden of Dreams" just seemed to work.

  10. Hi Rosemary! I love how the sign turned out! Have you ever done anything like that on metal? I have some metal scraps left over from the hubs a/c jobs from duct work, and I want to use them to make signs similar to this. If you can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it! Blessings from Bama!
