Good Sale, Crazy Computer

I was having a great day yesterday.  I was casually going through boxes (Yes, I still have boxes of stuff in the abyss), unearthing long forgotten finds, like these vintage velvet roses.

I was grateful for a successful weekend sale.  I did this sale, because I missed doing a show the previous week.  My van is on it's last legs, and long trips loaded with stuff makes it angry, and rebellious.

I'd had a good night sleep, and my husband picked up these chippy green chairs.

I sat down to do a little work, and, my computer lost it's mind.  I don't even know where to begin to explain, but, I wasn't able to access the Internet or much of anything else, and my icons were out of whack.  I'm back in, but, things aren't quite "normal".  I was told, that it wasn't a virus.  I just need to do some clean up.  My laptop gets a lot of use, and it's getting old.  I need another computer as well.

So, let's see.   I need a new computer, another van, and a long vacation.  Guess I'd better get back to work.

Hello Rosemary :-) I am happy you had a successful sale over the weekend. Pity I am so far... I wanted some of your treasures. As I am wanting those beautiful roses.
Hoping the computer issues get sorted out.
    Big hugs,

  2. Awwwww sweet Rosemary! When it rains, it pours! But hey, don't feel too bad...I don't even have a car:) Try Malwarebyte's for your computer, my son got a nasty virus on mine late last year and that was the only thing that worked (plus it's free!).

  5. Love those velvet flowers, Rosemary! It sounds like you've got a never ending treasure trove over there. : ) I'm just back from visiting NY, where I was on a forced withdrawal from the internet. I've got a lot of time to make up for now!

  8. I'm convinced that "bummers" always come in pairs or more. (like the day last summer when our A/C and water heater died within hours of each other) I know you will love a new computer, mine is on it's last legs as well. As long as you're getting the computer, you might as well throw in a new van. Then, take a nice vacation, resting with thoughts of your successful sale. See, I just planned your life for you. :)
LOVE those chairs your hubs picked up. I know you will do something ultra fantastic with them!

  26. Oh, I hate to hear that! You know you've heard the saying, when it rains it pours? Well, that's probably what is happening to you right now. I'm sure things will get better though. We have some things around our house that need to be replaced and cost a lot of $ too. No fun! But, some things wear out and just have to be replaced. At least the things you need are actually FUN to replace. Getting a new computer or new car/van is more fun than an igniter for an oven and a septic tank field line like we need. LOL!
