Sharing is Beautiful

I've been absent in blog land this past week.  If you're a Facebook friend, you know that I've been ill, stressed, and off my game.  A few days ago, everything came to a head.  I was in bed for a day and a half.

The above bouquet was brought to me by my friends Roger and Rhonda.  It was one in a series of gestures,  prayers, support, and encouragement, that flooded in the past few days.

My friend Sharon, whose home I shared HERE, came by.  She brought prayers, hugs, and food.

My friend Nancy, a long distance blog land/FB friend, was there for me as well.  She is one of the few blog land friends I've had long phone conversations with.

I received so many words of encouragement on FB, I found it difficult to keep from tearing up constantly.  I'm not the type to share EVERY aspect of my life.  I only do that with a chosen few.  The friends I've opened up to have been a true blessing.

I'm making the journey back to a part of my life that I honestly enjoy.  Creating, and sharing with all of you.  I'm feeling better, stronger, and very grateful.  This morning I felt the urge to see what some of you were up to.  Guess what I saw on my sidebar?

No, this is not my creation.  My friend Betsy at My Salvaged Treasures transferred the angel image I'm sharing on Etsy onto marble.  I used different images when I shared this tutorial.   Hmmmmm, why didn't I use the angel. lol

It always brightens my day to be considered an inspiration.  My decision to share images as well as tutorials has been a good one.  Here's another project from an Etsy customer, and blog land friend.  Sumaya at  Evocative Vintage used script I shared to embellish a mirror.

Sharing is beautiful.

See ya soon.

  1. You are such an inspiration many ways!
    Feel better!!!

  2. I'm happy you're better. I've been in a funk, too, but I'm getting out of it!

  3. Happy Monday! A beautiful start to a beautiful week. Imagine the possibilities .
Here's to continued renewal of health Rosemary.
    Big hugs.

  4. Hope you feel better son and your week is more pleasant sweet Rosemary. Beautiful bouquet from your friends and how wonderful your all your friends are! I love your angels, as they always remind me of you when I see them anywhere.
    Please take care.

  5. Glad you're feeling better, Rosemary, Please take care of yourself. I think that you might be one of those "burn the candle at both ends" kinda gals. Your health is more important, so rest and relax. we're all praying for you, sending big hugs, xoxo

  6. Oh no! I am glad to read you are feeling better though, Rosemary. Please take care of yourself.

  7. Rosemary Dear I am very thankful to hear you are feeling better and stronger. May you continue improving with lots of healing energy. Blessings...

  8. I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better Rosemary. You are so blessed to have so much support from your friends and family. What would we do without them? You know I love all your creative projects and you've always been so generous with sharing your techniques. I was thrilled to actually be able to pull one of them off. Praying for your continued good health.

  9. I'm so sorry to hear you've been under the weather Rosemary! I'm not on FB anymore so I was wondering where you were! Glad to hear you're on the mend and feeling better:)

  10. You are right- sharing IS beautiful- and imitation the most sincerest form of flattery, indeed.

You must not have any true idea how inspirational you are. Even I - a non-crafty sort find myself dreaming of the day I lose my fear of the process to create beautiful things out of everyday items.

I am so sorry you have been feeling poorly - knew something was up a while ago, one could tell. I pray it passes soon and you are up and at it with a vengeance.

The world is less beautiful without you, that I can promise.

    Hugs and heals,

  11. Glad you're feeling better but be sure to take it easy. I'm sure it's hard for you to sit back, relax and let projects or orders be put on hold but sometimes it's for the best. God often sets me down on my butt (kind of like I used to put my kids on a time out chair!) so that he can get my full and undivided attention. When I'm back on track, it's just better all the way around. Blessings to you today.

  12. The flowers are lovely and so beautiful -- just like you are. I love revisiting Sharon's home featured again. Does she have a blog or etsy shop? Because of you I am now following the other two blogs you featured today. The images and their uses are wonderful. Take good care of yourself. Love you so much!

  13. Oh sweetie, I am glad these dear ones have gathered around you and cared for you. I know how driven and creative you are and taking time to rest is not always on your agenda. I am thankful you are better. love, olive

  14. I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better and are listening to what your body is trying to tell you, my friend. :) You are such a hard worker, so devoted and committed...but you have to make sure to take time to stay devoted to yourself, too! lol I'm not surprised to see such lovely crafts being made by other bloggers. Your creativity and inspiration is astounding. ♥

    xoxo laurie

  15. Hi, Rosemary.
I don't get on FB much, so I've not been in the loop on your recent illness, but it hurts to know you've been going through a tough time. When one part of the body hurts...the others all feel it. Lifting you up in prayer, for the Lord to give you rest, peace, strength, wisdom, and whatever else you might need during this time. One thing you can be sure of, he will use this pain for good.
    All the best,

  16. I love your blog and the beautiful things you create. Take care, lots of love from the UK ♥

  17. Rosemary, this is such a touching post and I am so very happy you are up and about!!! I was very concerned for you. I know what it is like to have your health take over and I don't want that for anyone else!!

  18. Rosemary...I am so sorry to hear that you war not feeling well, but happy to hear that you are feeling a bit better...Please take your time to heal yourself and we will be patiently waiting for your beautiful posts!

  19. So sorry to hear that you've been sick. Sounds like you've gotten run down from all that you do. It's easy to do! Take it easy and get back into things slowly.

  20. My goodness I hope you are feeling better. Sometimes it's hard to remember to take care of ourselves. Hope you have a good week.

  21. Love the embellishment on the mirror frame.
And yes, it is great to share and inspire others.
And you do both so well

    be blessed

  22. Oh sweetie! I'm so very sorry to hear that you've not been well! I know that your busy schedule can take a toll on you now and then. You are so blessed with so many talents that I know how difficult it must be to walk away and rest at times. Please take care of yourself! I hope that you continue to feel better and stronger, but take your time with it, ok? Love ya hon! xoxo, Leena

  23. Well nothing keeps a good blogger down - glad you are on the way back to your old self.

  24. I'm so glad you are feeling better. You do so much--I would think you would burn out once in awhile. I hope things continue to look up!

    Hope you are well today!

  26. Oh rosemary . . . I'm so sorry to hear that you've been ill. I'm happy though that you are recuperating. Please take care of yourself and take it slow. Blessings to you, Patti

  27. Get well soon, Rosemary. Even the brightest candle dims occasionally. Take time to renew and restore yourself. Blogland will be here when you fell better.

  28. May God lift our spirits Rosemary and bless us with health, happiness and prosperity. May He always inspire us to create and share. You are so wonderful to show off my mirror!:)

    Thank you so much!
I am healing a little each day, but will be a while before I return to Blogland.

  29. One person can touch so many lives.Through creativity or just by being. So blessed to have met you.I continue to pray for your health and strength.

  30. I sure hope you are feeling much better, Rosemary, and I hope all continues to go well for you!

To say that you are a huge inspiration is an understatement, no one whose blog I follow does better creative and beautiful things with paint and faux finishes than you. You have such an eye and such talent, and such a creative mind. I'm always in awe of how you take something most people would put in the burn pile and turn it into a beautiful work of art. You are amazing!

  31. Hope you continue to improve and get back to good health quickly Rosemary. Thinking of you ♥

  32. Rosemary,
Sorry to hear you were not feeling well. Hope you are on the mend. Good healing thoughts coming your way.
