Rainy Weekend Projects

It's a rainy weekend here. A good excuse to go through more of my stash, and work on  Etsy listings.

This piece didn't need much. It was already a galvanized beauty, with great nail head detail.

I've had it for a while.  I just gave it a little extra oxidation, and stenciled "Paris" on with archival ink.

My wooden book bundle sold.

So, I'm going to be making more bundles.  I'm adding a little extra age to my French book pages with my dye mixture.

Just little projects I can work on during a dreary weekend.

I'm working on soft and feminine,

and rustic.

Gotta get back to work.  See ya soon.

  1. Beautiful pieces! It's dreary here today too. Sigh! Not very inspiring weather for me.

  2. A very productive day Rosemary. Wish I could send you some of our beautiful weather to cheer you up.
    Hugs ~ Kerryanne

  3. Rainy days have you creating beautiful pieces. We are actually having Spring with Daffodils and Camellias blooming. Rain to come mid week. Happy Hearts are Creative Hearts...

  5. Love your books! Warm & sunny here...finally!!!
    Happy weekend...

  6. I should hate to wish rain on anyone - but if rain and dreary weather helps you create I say let it pour!

LOVE your creations and wish I lived closer so maybe some would rub off on me!

  7. Looks all great and sounds very comfortable!

  8. LOL ~ I can't believe I got that book bundle, Rosemary! I thought for sure it would be gone already.

  9. Looks wonderful Rosemary! It is a nice way to spend a rainy weekend!

  10. Loving your bundled books Rosemary. Thank you for always inspiring us. Blessings, Patti

  11. Love that galvanized looking box and again those book bundles are so unique! It's no surprise that they are selling quick.

  12. Living your galvanized box, and those paper ephemera books ! Wow !

Your treasures Rosemary delight and inspire :)

A graceful Sunday to you, is it still raining?
If so perhaps another creative day for you.

  13. Oooops meant to say...Loving your galvanized box :))

    Darn that spell check!

  14. We're having a rainy day here also, but instead of being productive like you, I want to curl up and take a nap!!

  15. I love the little galvanized box, it's gorgeous! You do such lovely work.

  16. Great projects.
Are you making tags of your Remember Me? They are so sweet.

How did you age your galvanized pan a bit more.
I use my rust formula on mine, and sometimes it just ages them, other rusts, even though not supposed to.

blessings and have a great week.

  17. PS Are you making your own wooden books? We made them years ago, only painted them countryish then.
What you are doing is great.

  18. You have to be the busiest person I know... more beautiful goodies! Can't wait to see your rustic beauty's, that intrigues me! Have a GREAT week!

  19. Your latest projects are lovely, as always! Hope the sun will be shining soon!

  20. I just love that metal tray and those books look amazing covered with the script paper & twine! I have some vintage bibles that I want to find that same kind of paper to cover them with as well.
