Relaxing?

Relaxing is something that's difficult for me to do.  I'm usually in constant work mode.

However, I've found myself falling asleep on the couch quite frequently these past few days.  My body must be trying to tell me something.  Of course, being self-employed, I'm still working (Customer requests, Etsy, etc), but I'm taking more breaks.

I've added a few more festive touches,

changed a switch plate from this,

to this,

and relaxed some more.  I'm going to be spending time this weekend visiting some of you, my blogland friends.  I haven't been able to do that as much as I've wanted to lately.

I'm about to curl up again, and watch a movie with my hubby and sons.  Something we'll be doing off and on all weekend.

I hope you're all finding time to relax a bit, and enjoy your family.  See ya soon.

  9. Good for you, Rosemary! Enjoy this time of relaxation! I know it's hard for you but I'll bet you have more energy to get to projects after Christmas because you've rested. Your switchplate looks pretty. I just found some on the shelf in my craft room that I must have saved for a makeover. I have got to get organized in there!

  14. I am so with you on this post! I hardly ever get around to just visit. With a house full of five children some days, it is chaos! I just spent the last hour doing just exactly this. I visited and commented to some blogs that I read all of the time but hardly ever stop in and comment on. Wishing you the very Merriest Christmas Rosemary and a Happy New Year!
