Furniture Finds

OK, I just had to share these recent furniture finds before I do my next redesign post.

I love this ornate marble top commode. I have to say, my husband picked this one up. He has thoroughly enjoyed the compliments you guys have given him as my co-hunter. Now he reads my comments before I do.

I'll be adding new drawer pulls, and a different finish to this pair of marble top tables.

More arm chairs to redesign. It's an obsession.

One more shot of the commode. I may do a slight change to the finish. What do you think?

OK, redesigns next. See ya soon.

  22. What spectacular furniture! I love the marble top pieces. The first (and last) I think it might look a little fresher with a lighter paint but I can also see it painted a bold color like navy blue with white accents.

  27. you asked for an opine about the commode, so here's mine: I think the marble doesn't match the current finish. I'd make it darker to contrast.

I had to laugh at hubs checking comments before you...it's nice to know men can get caught up in the gossip of comments just like us girls!

As always, love his picks and love your work. You are a great team.
