Although I have plans for some of the vintage tin I found at an estate sale recently,
simply using some of the panels as the piece of art they are is enough.
If you've been following me for any length of time, you know how much I love the old and worn.
All I did was clean the panel above. The naturally weathered paint, and rust make a beautiful statement.
So, I'll be working on a few projects by repurposing a panel or two, or three this weekend. However, several pieces will serve as backdrops and wall hangings.
Love all of the different finishes, patterns and textures. Backdrops are many time the ""forgotten art". You just showed us what a difference they make, Rosemary, Thanks!ReplyDelete
Your crowns are on their way to me and I can't wait. Would you believe this will be my third and fourth crown from you? A tad obsessed, I know, but they are so beautiful.ReplyDelete
Thanks so much. I'd love to see what you do with them.Delete
Oh yes I like the vintage tins for wall hangings. I have one and have magnets on it with vintage pictures hanging on it . I really like what you did with the candelabra, then again I like all your altered itemsReplyDelete
