FRENCHY MAGNETS and MAGNETIC BOARDS

As my last outdoor market of the year approaches, I'm working on redesigning a few things.

I'm turning old enamel pans and salvaged iron into frenchy magnetic boards.

I don't have a before pic, but, they were just plain.

This next one was the top of an old stand.  I left the worn, rusty finish.

I created the shield magnets from salvaged metal.

You can see some of my other cut metal creations HERE, and, HERE.

I'm also working on ornaments, like these little birdies, and angel wings.

Looking forward to seeing my regulars, and, new faces at Three French Hens this Saturday, October 10th.

I've been getting lots of requests from my long distance readers about some of my past, and, current designs.  Don't worry, after the show, I plan to go nuts with my Etsy listings.

  1. I love everything you did! Gulp, I'm gearing up for my first craft fair in almost 5 years. Any advice on how not to lose my mind?! =)

    1. Don't lose your mind, Jeanine. Try to get as much as possible done ahead of time, and, do the best you can. Try to vary the levels with your display, and, don't worry about every little detail. Most customers won't know the difference.

  3. Rosemary...you are amazing! You just seamlessly move from one creative endeavor to the next while still keeping with you all of the other art you've made. I think that's a gift only given to certain people with insatiable creative minds. Love your metal work, the trays and magnets are beautiful and the birds...too sweet for words! Good luck at the market this weekend!

  4. I sure would love to attend your show if I lived closer, Rosemary! I love those sweet little birds. And I never would have thought to paint an old enamel tray, what a great idea! I just did a post on a tray that I made using that same stencil:) Love it!
