Breadboards and Vintage Handles

In my last post, I shared some of the salvaged wood breadboards I've been making.  I also said I would let you know what I decided to do with the vintage wood handles I picked up at an estate sale a while ago.

They'll all be serving as handles for some of my breadboards.

I just finished this one.

I'm also working on various round designs.

This piece was cut from a vintage tabletop whose legs were broken off.  I knew I could make use of the wood.  Cut, sanded, and, given a food safe finish.

This next one sold right away on Etsy.  I almost kept it.  However, I'll be making more with the same overall design.

Obviously, I'm still in a woodworking mood.

See ya soon.

That's a really clever and cool reuse for the handles. Love your cut out breadboards from salvaged wood.
