Salvaged Metal MEDALS

If there's one thing I have a lot of, it's vintage metal.  This is what I've been doing with some of my salvage, and, bits.

I've been adding a bit of rust, and, assembling "Medals".

Almost done with these, and, a bunch more.

I'll be listing some of them soon in my Etsy.

  1. Where do you find such great stuff to work with Rosemary? This looks genuinely vintage and so charming. Like it has its own story to tell....I'm sure they'll be great sellers! Were you at the Kane County Flea today? I wanted to get there but as usual other things got in the way. Hope yours is a nice holiday weekend.

  2. What a really cool idea! They look great!

  3. You are truly brilliant, seriously - this is beyond clever.

  4. Brilliant, love these!
    enJOY a lovely Sunday,

  5. Seriously, your ideas never cease to amaze me!

  6. Rosemary how brilliant ... Metals out of salvaged metals, love it!

  7. Oh Rosemary, I have adored so many of your creations, one being a favorite over another, but now these are my new favorites.
Are you selling them in your shop?
    I must go and see.
I am going to send this link off to a friend who wins blue ribbons for her horse showings theses would be a great gift to herself added I to her collection.

  8. Great designs, Rosemary. The rusty patina make these seem as if they were unearthed from years hidden away. You should give each a name - "Best Calf", etc. - print it on tag to attach to the medal.

  9. They are just beautiful Rosemary and very unique.

  10. Hi Rosemary,

Just getting back to blogging after my break. One of my friends that does NOT blog and does NOT follow blogs sent me a link to your blog because she stumbled across it somewhere and thought I would love it. LOL---Told her I already DID love it!

Happy Labor Day to you- xo Diana

  11. Rosemary, these are awesome! You create the most clever pieces!
