Sharing is Beautiful

I've been absent in blog land this past week.  If you're a Facebook friend, you know that I've been ill, stressed, and off my game.  A few days ago, everything came to a head.  I was in bed for a day and a half.

The above bouquet was brought to me by my friends Roger and Rhonda.  It was one in a series of gestures,  prayers, support, and encouragement, that flooded in the past few days.

My friend Sharon, whose home I shared HERE, came by.  She brought prayers, hugs, and food.

My friend Nancy, a long distance blog land/FB friend, was there for me as well.  She is one of the few blog land friends I've had long phone conversations with.

I received so many words of encouragement on FB, I found it difficult to keep from tearing up constantly.  I'm not the type to share EVERY aspect of my life.  I only do that with a chosen few.  The friends I've opened up to have been a true blessing.

I'm making the journey back to a part of my life that I honestly enjoy.  Creating, and sharing with all of you.  I'm feeling better, stronger, and very grateful.  This morning I felt the urge to see what some of you were up to.  Guess what I saw on my sidebar?

No, this is not my creation.  My friend Betsy at My Salvaged Treasures transferred the angel image I'm sharing on Etsy onto marble.  I used different images when I shared this tutorial.   Hmmmmm, why didn't I use the angel. lol

It always brightens my day to be considered an inspiration.  My decision to share images as well as tutorials has been a good one.  Here's another project from an Etsy customer, and blog land friend.  Sumaya at  Evocative Vintage used script I shared to embellish a mirror.

Sharing is beautiful.

See ya soon.

  8. I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better Rosemary. You are so blessed to have so much support from your friends and family. What would we do without them? You know I love all your creative projects and you've always been so generous with sharing your techniques. I was thrilled to actually be able to pull one of them off. Praying for your continued good health.

  10. You are right- sharing IS beautiful- and imitation the most sincerest form of flattery, indeed.

You must not have any true idea how inspirational you are. Even I - a non-crafty sort find myself dreaming of the day I lose my fear of the process to create beautiful things out of everyday items.

I am so sorry you have been feeling poorly - knew something was up a while ago, one could tell. I pray it passes soon and you are up and at it with a vengeance.

The world is less beautiful without you, that I can promise.

    Hugs and heals,

    Michele

  11. Glad you're feeling better but be sure to take it easy. I'm sure it's hard for you to sit back, relax and let projects or orders be put on hold but sometimes it's for the best. God often sets me down on my butt (kind of like I used to put my kids on a time out chair!) so that he can get my full and undivided attention. When I'm back on track, it's just better all the way around. Blessings to you today.

  12. The flowers are lovely and so beautiful -- just like you are. I love revisiting Sharon's home featured again. Does she have a blog or etsy shop? Because of you I am now following the other two blogs you featured today. The images and their uses are wonderful. Take good care of yourself. Love you so much!

  14. I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better and are listening to what your body is trying to tell you, my friend. :) You are such a hard worker, so devoted and committed...but you have to make sure to take time to stay devoted to yourself, too! lol I'm not surprised to see such lovely crafts being made by other bloggers. Your creativity and inspiration is astounding. ♥

  15. Hi, Rosemary.
I don't get on FB much, so I've not been in the loop on your recent illness, but it hurts to know you've been going through a tough time. When one part of the body hurts...the others all feel it. Lifting you up in prayer, for the Lord to give you rest, peace, strength, wisdom, and whatever else you might need during this time. One thing you can be sure of, he will use this pain for good.
    All the best,
    Revi

  30. I sure hope you are feeling much better, Rosemary, and I hope all continues to go well for you!

To say that you are a huge inspiration is an understatement, no one whose blog I follow does better creative and beautiful things with paint and faux finishes than you. You have such an eye and such talent, and such a creative mind. I'm always in awe of how you take something most people would put in the burn pile and turn it into a beautiful work of art. You are amazing!

    Best,

    Kimberly
