Beyond Tired

I'm beyond tired, but I managed to get a few shots of my booth at the show today.  I have one more day to go.  I still had that annoying glare from the window, but.....whatever.

I sold lots of my angel wings.

Here's a close up of the little chest.  I took this photo right after I finished it.

Do you remember what it looked like before.  I showed it to you when I first purchased it.

Back to the show.

This dresser was one of the first things to sell.

I displayed my angel pins on fabric ribbons I made at the last minute.

They're lying on a wood box I redesigned.  It was plain wood.  I added the wood applique, gave it a few layers of paint, distressed it a bit, and used brown wax to finish it off.

Oh, and I decoupaged french book pages in the interior.  It sold quickly.

Okay, I'm about to fall over. See you after the show.

As I read this post, Rosemary, one word kept floating through my mind: ARTIST.

You are beyond being an artist, though, my friend. You are an AMAZING ARTIST!

Oh, Rosemary, I'm beginning to think that you have a clone lurking about, because no one person could possibly create so many unique, beautiful pieces! Thank you for sharing all the gorgeousness in your booth... I think I'm in love with you (er, *both* of you - hehe).♥

P.S. Bliss, how sweet you were to leave Rosemary with the lovely Brahms's Lullaby lyric.♫ Now, if only we could get her to listen to you!

Love everything you're showing us. Really beautiful and unique. Would you be willing to share how you did the little chest? Is it decoupage or ink transfer? It's really nice.

I truly admire your talent and the what you do is WOW. I am curious can I use Gesso over any painted surface..I painted a night stand ...what ever and thinking of changing the look...and painting a lighttone over the dark metallic I did...is that possible
