Saturday Frenzy

CAUTION: These photos were taken very quickly.  My intention was to set up a nice display, take some great shots, and possibly share a few other booths at the show.  What actually happened was, my husband and I got a late start, arrived when the early buyers were already starting to mill around, and I got mobbed.  The frenzy continued all day Saturday.

I never actually got set up properly. So, what you see here are quick shots I took, while constantly moving items around, and dealing with customers.   Things were disappearing left and right. Quite a few items walked out the door before I could get a shot.  I'm not complaining.  So many readers of my blog showed up.  I was very happy to meet some of you.  Lots of hugs.

My script stand was one of the first things to sell.  It went to a good customer.

There were lots of smiling faces.

questions,

and SOLD tags.  Yes, that's my chippy cabinet.  I decided to part with.  I'll show you what I replaced it with in a future post.

So many things vanished in a haze.

A customer was nice enough to let me snap a quick pic of these silver candelabras, before I wrapped them for her.

Lots of frames and architectural items went.

Everyone liked my lavender filled shakers and bottles.

The beehive hanging baskets went to an old dealer friend of mine.

The frame with the swags went to a fellow blogger.

Yes, I've been busy with my tea towel designs.  Everyone loved them.  I've made more.

Cement was popular too.

These items were priced separately, but a nice young lady bought the whole vignette.

The pace was slower Sunday, but I continued to sell.  It was a good weekend.  I am sooooo tired.  Hopefully, I can get some rest tonight, and get back into the swing of things tomorrow.  I'm so far behind with my emails, replies, and visits.  Thanks to all of you for your continued support and comments, even when I'm MIA.  LUV YA ALL.

  2. Woo-hoo! Look at you! Seems you had a very successful weekend. That's wonderful. The white peacock caught my eye. I would have snatched him up if I had been there. I have two that are upright that belonged to my grandmother. I've decided to try to "rescue" them if I ever come across any.. which has only happened once.
    Loved your post!

These pics were fun to look at with your customers in action. I enjoyed seeing all of your items displayed out in the open like that. It gave me more of a sense of what they look like from afar.
