Texture and Script

I'm super busy packing for my show this weekend, but I wanted to share a quick post on one of my recent makeovers.



Here is the before.


I wanted a thick, slightly imperfect paint finish.  I added layers of paint and texture, blue ledger paper to the drawer front, and changed the hardware.

  49. I just LOVE this! I would give everything we own this finish if my husband wouldn't vetoe it...I find myself looking at other people's furniture, even, imagining how it would look with a distressed painted finish! LOL ♥
