6 Months and My Top Ten

Where did the time go?

This Thursday, I will have been blogging 6 months. I love being in this community of so many talented and gracious individuals. I'm so grateful for the warm welcome, the number of you who have chosen to follow my blog, those who have featured my work, and fellow bloggers who have mentioned me or shared on facebook. I appreciate every comment, and enjoy visiting all of you.

I would like to give a special thanks to  Debbie, of Debbiedoos Blogging and Blabbing. This will be my last link to her "Newbie Party". If you are new to blogging, I encourage you to join Debbie every Monday for her party.  I still don't know how she manages to leave so many comments with her newbies, but I will always be grateful for her support and encouragement.  I may be leaving the party as a participant, but I'll always drop by as a reader.

While reminising about my last 6 months, I thought it would be interesting to check my stats and share with you my top ten posts to date.  I compiled this list according to views, and comments.  I'm not including "Gesso Magic".  It actually has the most views, but that's because I've included so many links back to it, after receiving constant inquiries about gesso.

So here  are my top ten, beginning with the most popular.  You can click on the title to review these posts.

GLAZED CHANDELIER

SPLENDID TRANSFER

PLASTERED

STONE EFFECT

A DIFFERENT LOOK

HAVE A SEAT

NICE DETAILS

WHITE ON WHITE

FRENCHY AND GRAPHIC

BLEACHED MIRROR

Are you surprised by these?  I'm actually not that surprised.  They happen to be some of my faves as well.  However, I am curious.  Do you have a favorite post of mine?  Do you like my furniture posts, tutorials, finds, personal vignettes?  I'd love to know.

BTW, those clock faces are some of my finds from this weekend.  I'll be back to share more, and show you what I'm doing with some of them.  I also have a few surprises.  See ya soon.

  1. What an awesome post! Thank you for being so supportive and loyal as well to the party. It was all your hard work that got you to where you are now. I actually love all your posts. I do love your furniture makeovers, but it is always fun to see a vignette from you too. I will still see you around Rosemary, this just makes you graduated now. Congrats!

  5. Hi Rosemary! I found you through Debbiedoos newbie party. I would definitely pick the chair redo as my fav! All of your work is fantastic. Lucky you not to be a newbie anymore. Any advice to a newbie who has been blogging for a while and having trouble gaining a following??? Hope you'll visit The Corson Cottage sometime:) Carrie

  15. I love your blog - I'm not quite sure how I came across it, but it's a favourite. In particular, I love that you are so generous with sharing your work/how you do it, and refer to your methods constantly. I recently bought a whole load of Splendid Blender pens and was stumped when it didn't work - then realised you had said that it didn't work with inkjet copies...doh! My only problem - being over in the UK, I can never buy any of your stuff!
