While in the midst of a dozen or so redesigns, I managed to snap a few pics of this frenchy cane back chair I finished. I used a base coat of black followed by dry brushing with white gesso.
I covered the seat with vintage ticking. I used the reverse side of the fabric.

caned chairs and furniture is one of my favorite design elements..love the new "old" patina this chair now has..more appropriate for the chair..!! perfect for a bedroom, foyer or near the fireplace as an accent piece..
