Chippy Hearts and Chilling Temps

Below zero temps have me inside, creating with my stash of salvaged metal.  Winter has definitely arrived here in my neck of the woods.

I've been cutting, painting, and, decorating hearts for my Etsy shop.  I've added a metal fleur-de-lis, and, faded French script to these.

Note the chippy finish.  I've used a combo of the homemade paint from the Farragoz course, and, my own little tricks for the finish.

I've use a vintage key to embellish some of them.

Because my close ups have a tendency to make certain items seem larger than they are, this next photo will help.

However, I'm making larger hearts as well.

I've given some of my smaller hearts a weathered finish using my own solutions.  "Gratitude is the memory of the heart" is the lettering on this next pair.

I've already sold some of these hearts.  However, with more bone chilling temps on the way, I have a feeling I'll be making a lot more, and, other cute little handmade things.
