Graphics Play and Local Event

I'm sure most of you are familiar with "The Graphics Fairy".

Karen has featured my "Splendid Transfer" method, and, sends a lot of traffic my way.

I usually use my own vintage graphics, but, decided to play around with some of the graphics Karen so graciously shares with her readers.

If you've been following me for any length of time, you know I've used the horseshoe handles many times for wood boxes, and, crates.

Here are some of my former creations using horseshoes.

This current box was given multiple layers of paint.  I transferred the graphic with the acrylic gel medium technique I used HERE.

I have multiple projects near completion, using other images from The Graphics Fairy. This one looks great on top of one of my crackled paint treatments.  I'll share the finished project later.

On another note, I've been invited to participate in an event in downtown Hammond, IN this Saturday, June 28th. I'm not an Indiana resident, but, I can literally walk there from Lansing, IL. So, no long drive here.

I'll be one of the antique, and, handmade vendors.

If you're one of my locals, come on out and see me.  You can get more info HERE.

  1. Great crates. I love the horse shoe handles, and so far you're the only one I have seen use these. Have a wonderful weekend.
