Stoned Peat Pots

My peat pots are stoned.

I was making a few of my fleur-de-lis peat pots,

and decided to, not only make a cameo one,

but give them both a little more depth.  I gave them a wash of grey, followed by a dry brush of white.

Now they have a look similar to weathered stone.

I love playing with these.

  11. As Betsy said, "You'd never know these weren't really stone."

I read the word 'peat' but it didn't register, and I thought that the gray-washed pots were your terracotta ones until I read Betsy's comment! That should give you an idea of how much like stone they look! Amazing work, as always, Rosemary.♥ xoxo
