My Little Chandelier

I took a break from furniture late yesterday and had fun with a little chandelier I picked up recently.


This is how I found it.


I envisioned something lighter with more character and bling. I gave it a thick coat of antique white, and went through my stash of prisms to dress it up.





Here is another one with a different style. It was black before.

    They are both so beautiful! Love how you added all of the 'bling' -- I just finished a large chandelier and am getting ready to hang it in my gazebo -- they are so much fun! Who'd have thought those 70's chandeliers would get such a big boost with blog features! Thanks for sharing your beauties!

    I love it, rehabbed Chandeliers are a good steady seller in my booth, I always have 2 hanging at a time and I always paint them white

    I don't know how you have the time to take an "okay" chandelier paint it and add crystals. I would have seen it and said why bother...that is why you have the most unique items!!!

    I've added some more gesso to the plateau for ya Rosemary...I think I'll get it right in a few more coats *winks*. Vanna

    Love love love these Rosemary. The first one was pretty before but you really made it look amazing. They are both great but I'm a sucker for prisms and flourishes. Loving that stool too. You never disappoint.

    Rosemary you have such amazing vision, let alone talent. The chandeliers really look amazing. hmmmm. I never would have though of changing the color of a chandelier but you really have me thinking.
