This is how I found it.
I envisioned something lighter with more character and bling. I gave it a thick coat of antique white, and went through my stash of prisms to dress it up.
Here is another one with a different style. It was black before.
OK, back to the furniture. Till next time, don't forget to.......

They are both so beautiful! Love how you added all of the 'bling' -- I just finished a large chandelier and am getting ready to hang it in my gazebo -- they are so much fun! Who'd have thought those 70's chandeliers would get such a big boost with blog features! Thanks for sharing your beauties!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary! These are both great chandeliers and I love the extra bling. Thanks for joining the Open House party this week.

I love it, rehabbed Chandeliers are a good steady seller in my booth, I always have 2 hanging at a time and I always paint them white

Great transformation, I love that first little one. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you have the time to take an "okay" chandelier paint it and add crystals. I would have seen it and said why bother...that is why you have the most unique items!!!
ReplyDeleteThe chandies look great in white! Great job as always.
ReplyDeleteI've added some more gesso to the plateau for ya Rosemary...I think I'll get it right in a few more coats *winks*. Vanna
Gorgeous Rosemary!! Love every bit of it - just to let you know we picked up some Gesso this week....thanks for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteLove love love these Rosemary. The first one was pretty before but you really made it look amazing. They are both great but I'm a sucker for prisms and flourishes. Loving that stool too. You never disappoint.

ReplyDeleteNice transformation. Very pretty! I am visiting from Feathered Nest Friday.
ReplyDeleteRosemary you have such amazing vision, let alone talent. The chandeliers really look amazing. hmmmm. I never would have though of changing the color of a chandelier but you really have me thinking.

Absolutely love this chandelier. I have a weakness for chandeliers though. Really I could have one in every room of my house :)
ReplyDeleteI love them! You've inspired me to consider updating the Chandelier in my dining room. ;0)
