Fleur-de-lis Ornaments

Here's another variation on my salvaged metal ornaments.

I'm making fleur-de-lis ornaments.

They're painted a soft white, with a bit of vintage script transferred to the surface, and, a metal fleur-de-lis adhered to the center.

I followed with a dusting of glitter.

I punched a hole for a cord, and, seam binding.

I'm making a bunch for my show next month, and, listing a few on Etsy.

More Glittery Metal

I'm having lots of fun making these glitter dusted metal ornaments, and, hangers.

I can't tell you how many pieces of salvaged metal I have.  I mean, I "really" can't tell you.

Occasionally, I sell some of my miscellaneous pieces.  However, more often than not, I stare at them until inspiration strikes.

After seeing one of my glittery metal ribbons, one of my FB friends, wanted to know if I could turn them into wreath, or, stocking holders.

Yes.

I decided to use just one ribbon for the hooks.

Okay, I have more metal to cut, assemble, paint, and, glitter up.  I'm getting requests, I have to list some in my Etsy, and, I have to have some available at my shows next month.

I'd better get back to work.

See ya soon.

Festive Metal

I'm giving my metal "medals" a festive twist.

A little while ago, I showed you the medals I've been making from salvaged metal.

Since then, I've sold quite a few.  With Christmas coming up quickly, and, multiple shows next month, I decided to add a little sparkle.

This one has a hanger on the back.

I bent this one,

and,

added a ribbon for hanging.

I have more to make, and, I'll be listing a few in my Etsy shop.

P.S.
Thanks for all the entries in the Farragoz giveaway.   I'll announce the winner soon.

FARRAGOZ GIVEAWAY

That's right.  I'm running another giveaway on the Farragoz Painting Course.

As most of you know, I've been transforming with paint for decades.  When I became an affiliate of Farragoz last year, I knew I'd found a kindred spirit.  Would you like to learn how to make all of the projects pictured here?  YOU CAN.

Most of you know, I've been reviewing the Farragoz course.  You've seen me complete projects from the course, like the clock face,

and utilize the homemade paint recipes on my own projects.

So, as an affiliate of Farragoz, I want to give my readers another opportunity to take advantage of the course.

One of my readers will win the Farragoz 12 month online painting course.  Although the regular price of the course is $150.00, I can honestly say that what you'll learn is worth many times that cost.

If you're new to my site, you can read all about my decision to partner with Farragoz HERE.

You can also take a look at just a few of my personal projects I've completed using the homemade paint recipes from the course, HEREHEREHERE, and HERE.

Want more info on the Farragoz course?  Just click HERE, or, on the Farragoz banner on my right sidebar.

So, if you would like to enter?   Just follow the instructions below.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Fleur-de-licious

Look at what I found at the bottom of a box, while on the hunt.

These fabulous fleur-de-lis doorknobs, circa 1910.

Yes, it was a giddy moment.

I'm still working on that balance between my Etsy shop, and, upcoming shows.  I'll be listing these guys in the shop.

I'm getting ready for the Three French Hens market next weekend, I have another Farragoz course giveaway coming up, I'm working on Christmas items, and, I'll be in Crown Point, IN for the next Hunt and Gather market in November.

Yep, things are still quite busy.

See ya soon.
