Happy Customers

I'm tired, but, I had a great time at the Downtown Hammond, IN event I mentioned in my last post.

Customers were so sweet, and, happy with their purchases.  Which, make me very happy.

There goes my wine crate from my last post, and, quite a few more items with this cute couple.

My matching plant stands left with one customer, along with two matching hanging baskets.

Another plant stand gone, and, ornate brackets.

A hanging basket went to this charming lady.

The atmosphere was fabulous.  There was a vintage car show.  I wish I'd had time to do a little more strolling around.

However, I did manage to get a few more shots of my booth.

It was a nice afternoon of sales, nearby, and, the weather cooperated.

Okay, time to recoup.  I have quite a bit coming up in July.

See ya soon.

Graphics Play and Local Event

I'm sure most of you are familiar with "The Graphics Fairy".

Karen has featured my "Splendid Transfer" method, and, sends a lot of traffic my way.

I usually use my own vintage graphics, but, decided to play around with some of the graphics Karen so graciously shares with her readers.

If you've been following me for any length of time, you know I've used the horseshoe handles many times for wood boxes, and, crates.

Here are some of my former creations using horseshoes.

This current box was given multiple layers of paint.  I transferred the graphic with the acrylic gel medium technique I used HERE.

I have multiple projects near completion, using other images from The Graphics Fairy. This one looks great on top of one of my crackled paint treatments.  I'll share the finished project later.

On another note, I've been invited to participate in an event in downtown Hammond, IN this Saturday, June 28th. I'm not an Indiana resident, but, I can literally walk there from Lansing, IL. So, no long drive here.

I'll be one of the antique, and, handmade vendors.

If you're one of my locals, come on out and see me.  You can get more info HERE.

Three French Hens Fun

I had a blast at the Three French Hens Market.

As I mentioned in my last post, this was a last minute decision, but, I'm so glad I did it.

I was quite busy from the moment the show started.

Although hubby was with me, I was kinda stuck in my booth, as there was a continuous wave of customers.  I didn't get a chance to stroll around the market.  During down time, I just wanted to sit.

Quite a bit went early.

Just a REMINDER:  I will be back next month, July 12th.  I'll be selling at the market,

and, taking a quick break to do a mini workshop at the luncheon.

Well, I'm exhausted.  Time to rest up a bit.

See ya soon.

Last Minute Show Decision

Yes, I know, I've just recovered from my last show.  However, I decided to set up at my friend Traci's "Three French Hens Market", in Morris, IL, this Saturday, June 14th.

It's one day, from 8am - 2pm.   For more info, click HERE.

Busy packing right now.  I'll try to get a few pics at the show.

If you're in the area, come on out and see me.

See ya soon.

Relaxing

I've been forcing myself to relax a bit, after my show this past weekend.

I didn't realize just how exhausted I was till the day after.  My body felt like a bag of bricks.

So, I'm giving myself a little time to recoup.

The show went well.

Quite a bit went to new homes.

However, the crystal vase,

found it's way back home with me.

See ya soon.

Hunt and Gather This Week

The Hunt & Gather Market is this coming Friday.

I still have lots of packing, organizing, and finishing to do.

The bottle in the pic below has sold.  However, the vintage ceiling tins are coming with me.

The bottle was a chippy beauty.  She's from the 1930's.  Actually, she's Scarlett O'Hara.  A promotional piece for "Gone With The Wind".

One of my FB friends had to have her. So, I let her go.

No worries.  I still have tons of stuff to bring.

My vintage shopping cart will be there.

So will my shell pink milk glass punch bowl set.

I'll have furniture, ephemera, vintage keys, crystals, architectural pieces, quirky items, collectibles, etc. I'll share more pics before the show.

Only a few days left till showtime. I'd better get back to work.

Looking forward to seeing my locals.
