You've seen me use this image in many projects.
and, now I'm sharing her. You can find the download HERE.
I'm also working on getting my studio/showroom back in order.
Over the long winter, this room became a complete mess. It was basically just a storage room. A disorganized nightmare of a room. What the heck happened? I mean this was my cute little boutique. Even after all my purging recently, I was neglecting this room. Too much on my mind. Too many problems to solve. Too many directions to go in. Blah, blah, blah. Enough already.
It's hard to be creative when you're surrounded by chaos. I've been dealing with vehicle issues, financial issues, issues, issues, issues, and, yes, I was allowing it to run me down. Go ahead, yell at me.
I truly believe the roadblocks I've had to deal with lately is God's way of slowing me down, and moving me in a different direction.

Recently, I put out a prayer request on FB. I was beginning to feel like my head was going to explode. Well, I was overwhelmed by the amount of support from my dear friends, near, and far. It's easy for me to pray for others, and offer advise. However, when it comes to myself, I hesitate to ask. You know what? The cloud is lifting, and I'm gaining focus. I'm working on revamping things business-wise, and, taking better care of myself.
I have a loving family, and many blessings. Everything else will fall into place.
I'm off to celebrate my recent HS graduates 18th birthday. Hubby's was yesterday. See ya soon.

Goodness, that sounds like I wrote it Rosemary! I've had too much "stuff" going on for months and months - some good, some bad, but I'm blessed as well and am off to celebrate my 18yo's homeschool graduation today as well. I hope things will slow to a reasonable pace for you and the issues will really just be part of God's plan for you...for the good!
ReplyDeleteI'm sory that I missed your FB prayer request, Rosemary, but know that I have you in my thoughts and prayers always. I am glad that things are coming together. Sometimes we really do need to let go, take a deep breath and wait to see what happens! I know what you mean about all those issues! They can really turn your brain and spirit topsy-turvy! Glad that you're finding some peace and focus! Happy birthday to your son and husband and congrats on the graduation! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteI love that image and your frames are gorgeous, Rosemary! I'm sorry to hear you've got such a load on your mind lately. I hope you will take some time for yourself. It is just as important as taking care of your family.

I can totally relate and yes prayers do the job !!!
Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteI feel bad that you've had so much going on but you are always so busy so, I shouldn't be that surprised. God always points in the right direction. I am glad that you are getting things settled down. Thinking of you!

It's easier said than done, but we do need to slow down and take time for ourselves. I recently did a lot of purging in my garage and it's so much easier to think straight when there's not such a mess out there. Happy to hear that the fog is lifting and the power of prayer has pulled you through.
ReplyDeleteSometimes even good things cause stress, don't they?! My answer is usually a little prayer, a little yoga and lot of organizing. Hope you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
so glad to hear that things are looking up for you. Sometimes, it's when we feel at our lowest that the only thing left, is to look up. Things usually get better after that. Congrats on your son's graduation and happy birthday to him and your husband. My husband's birthday is Tuesday too.
ReplyDeleteJust look at the wonderful blessings.... God"ll be in charge of the rest! Congrats for your Son's graduation!
ReplyDeleteGosh! Can I identify! Take the good with the bad, in the end it always shows us something... I've learned that. xxoo
